Lewis Shiner has likely been the longest listener of BZT and altho I've not personally met him, he's been a real solid friend over the past 18 years. He's also one of my favorite authors whose often music based novels have brought me tremendous smiles and intrigue. I have them all. His current publisher Subterranean Press is properly honoring him right now and rightly so. You've heard me speak of Lew forever so if yer looking for some grand fiction to read, perhaps it's time to go to the links and dive into his life’s work. Glimpses is where I started with him in 2003 but if you're really adventurous his latest novel, Outside The Gates Of Eden, is profoundly musical and rock n roll American.
Oh, and new show, 740, is planned for later today the 28th. On it, I'll retell the strange story of how I found Lew. It's a spooky 6 degrees landing of luck.
..very well put, from you, mate. This should be more than sufficient for really relishing in some brilliant belletristik.. belle lettres, buggerz, fiction then, for the time being..
Ey wild wrighdte, to be sure.
You couldn't sing a book for us, maybe? tops of the rompish wheat and needles in a haystack are all ears. Elephanteous, say.
